Our Story

Hill View Retirement Community was founded under the auspices of, and is related to the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church. It is a non-profit, charitable organization that has been in operation since 1975.

Hill View offers three options for independent living: apartments, cottages, and villas. In addition, assisted living and nursing home rooms are available featuring private and spacious accommodations. Many wonderful people from Southern Ohio and throughout the United States make Hill View their home.

Hill View’s mission is achieved through a variety of means: spiritual support, socialization, delicious meals three times a day, clinic services, travel, and educational programs, all of which enhance our residents’ lifestyles.

Residents enjoy numerous amenities, such as an art studio and crafts center, computer lab, library, and fitness center. Residents also have access to a woodworking shop, game room, beauty and barber shop, space for massage therapy, and general goods store.

Scheduled transportation, a beautiful chapel, twenty acres with walkways and scenic stocked ponds contribute to wholesome living by Hill View residents.

All inclusive maintenance and twenty-four hour emergency response for repairs and unforeseen health issues contribute to stress-free living.
